Tour 6 - 4 days (3 nights)

As tour 2 but special Shabbat dinner included day 2.

For those wanting a brief introduction to Kerala but do not want to miss out on a 'houseboat' this is ideal. houseboatWe pick you up at the airport, take you to your luxurious suite in the hotel. You'll have time to relax and unpack before you have an evenings entertainment. The next day, after breakfast, we will see some sights the next day - the chinese fishing nets on the banks of the Arabian Sea and then go on to St.Francis Church, Vasco da Gama Square, the Dutch Cemetery and St.Francis Basilica, finishing off with an evenings shopping in the spice centre. The next day we take you on a 7 hour backwater cruise on 2 types of craft. The first is a a traditional Kettuvallom house boat with modern toilet and spacious decks and shaded area. We cruise lagoons and wide canals for about 4 hours. The second craft is an open canoe (don't worry it's 35' long and 10' wide) in which we explore the smaller canals and villages for the remaining time. After this unforgettable day we take you back to the hotel in time for dinner. You are free to explore for the evening. After breakfast the next day we take you back to the airport and bid farewell.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: WELCOME TO COCHIN

Pickup from the Airport by our Hotel Representative. Check in at Hotel in the afternoon. Have a good nap at our luxurious Suite. Wake up at 05 in the evening and get ready for the Dance Performance, which is one-hour performance of different Indian Arts. Back to Hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: SIGHT SEEING

Breakfast at our Menorah Restaurant.
Start for sight seeing around Fort Cochin. Begin with the Chinese fishing nets at the bank of Arabian Sea followed by St.Francis Church, Vasco da Gama Square, Dutch Cemetry and St.Francis Basilica etc…. Back to hotel in the afternoon. Evening visit the attractions of Jewish Street, Jewish Synagogue, Hill Palace Museum and shopping at Spice Market.Back to hotel in the afternoon.

Evening: visit the attractions of Jewish Street, JEWISH PARADESI SYNAGOGUE, Dutch Palace and Spice Market. Back to hotel. SHABBAT Special Dinner (Kosher) can be arranged for Jewish Guests at an extra cost (kindly inform us in advance). Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: BACK WATER CRUISE (Village Tour)

Breakfast at the Restaurant.  Proceed for Seven hours back water cruise at near by village on the way to Alleppy 04 hour back water cruise on a house boat (converted from “Kettuvallom” (Traditional Rice Barge) is made with the hard wood ‘Anjili' and is about 70 feet long and 13 feet wide. It has a spacious double room with a modern toilet and an open pavilion through wide canals and lagoons and 03-hour village cruise on a country boat (traditional open canoe made with hard wood ‘Anjili' and is about 35 feet long and 10 feet wide. Typical Kerala Lunch at the Boat. Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
