DAY
01: ARR. BANGALORE - TRANSFER TO HOTEL
Upon
arrival at Bangalore, transfer from airport to hotel. (Overnight in Bangalore)

02: BANGALORE - HASSAN (180 km / 3,5 hrs)
Morning
after breakfast checkout from hotel and you will drive to Hassan. Enroot we
will visit the sacred Jain site of Sravanabelagola. Sravanabelagola means "the
monk on the top of the hill”, where hermits, mystics and ascetics have
resided here since at least the 3rd century BC. In those early times the hill
was thickly wooded and hermits could feed themselves from the vegetation of
the forest. Near the middle of the 10th century AD, temples began to be constructed
upon the hill and from that time the place has become one of the most important
pilgrimage sites of the Jain religion. Here we will see extraordinary 18m-high
monolithic statue of a naked male figure from the 10-century, Gomateshvara.
Carved out of a single block of granite this majestic statue was created during
the period of Chamundaraya, and believed to be the largest freestanding sculpture
in India. (Overnight in Hassan)

03: HASSAN
In
the Morning we proceed for sightseeing tour around Hassan. First we will visit
Belur where you can see the best template for Hoyasala architecture a Channekeshava
Temple. The particularity of this temple is, that the angled bracket figures
depicting women in ritual dancing poses. (The best time to visit 9am, 3pm, and
7:30pm ceremony). After we will drive to Halebid - the ancient capital of the
Hoysalas, which is famous for its Hoysaleswara Temple. This particular temple
represents one of the most artistically exuberant periods of Hindu cultural
development. The Hoyasala temples in Belur and Halebid symbolize the confluence
of Dravidian, Chalukyan and Chola art at the same time.

04: HASSAN - NAGARHOLE - KABINI
Morning
after check out from hotel and you will drive to Nagarhole. Nestled in the southern
fringes of the Nagarhole
National Park,
the Kabini River Lodge is a perfect getaway for nature lovers. The breathtaking
locale with the tranquil backwaters of the River Kabini presents an ideal setting
for a long-awaited vacation. Once the hunting lodge of the erstwhile Maharaja
of Mysore, Kabini River Lodge is today rated by the British Tattler’s
Travel Guide as one of the top 5 wildlife resorts in the world. Kabini is pure
elephant country as one can see numerous herds at a time. On arrival check

DAY
05: KABINI - MYSORE (140 km / 3 hrs)
Check
out from hotel after breakfast and drive to Mysore - the palace city of
South India. On arrival check into hotel. After refreshment visit the famous
“Palace of Mysore” which was once the residential of Wodeyars and
is one of the largest of its kind in India. Built in 1912 in the indo Saracenic
style, this palace exudes a grandeur that is unmatched. The on visit the “Jayachamsrajendra
Art Gallery” housed in the Jaganmohan palace. This gallery has a collection
of Exquisite paintings dating back to 1875. Later in the evening visit to the
bull temple (a 4.8mts monolith) on the middle of hill on the way to Chamundi
temple and then to visit the “Chamumdi Hill Temple” at a height
of 1062mts. The 2000-year-old temple is dedicated to Goddess Chamundi. A seven
storey, 40mts high tower, dominates the temple. A view of entire Mysore city
from this hilltop is breath taking. (Overnight in Mysore)
DAY 06: MYSORE
Morning
after breakfast you will proceed for Somnathpur one of the most famous Hoysala
Temple. After we will go to Somnathpur, where we visit the Hoysala temple. The
Somnathpur temple stands in the middle of a walled compound. All around the
temple is an open verandah having 64 cells and it stands on a raised platform.

07: DEP. TRANSFER TO BANGALORE AIRPORT
Morning
after breakfast checkout from hotel and you will drive to Goa airport for onward
flight.

Entrance fees are not included. Most entrance fees in India are not
more than USD$2. PLEASE NOTE that there is often an additional camera
charge, though this again will not usually be more than USD$2. The
charges for using a Video camera are more expensive and will usually
be around USD$5. TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel your booking any time prior to commencement of the
tour by notifying us in writing, which must be signed by the person
that signed the Reservation Form. If you cancel on or before 30
days before the first day of the tour, we will retain your deposit
to cover our costs.
In addition, if the cancellation notification is received less
than 30 days prior to the first day of the tour, additional cancellation
charges shall be as follows:
Amount of Cancellation Charges:
* 29-15 Days before the first day of the tour 50%
* 14-7 Days before the first day of the tour 75%
* Less than 7 Days before the first day of the tour 100%
CHANGES BY YOU:
If you request any changes to your travel arrangements once we have
confirmed a booking, all out of pocket charges, including charges
imposed by our suppliers, will be payable by you, plus an amendment
fee of USD$ 150.00 or more according to your requirement, per revision
per booking. If after the commencement of your tour you request
any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to
implement them, but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible.
In the event of such change(s) being made, you will be liable for
any cancellation charges that may be levied for the previously booked
service and for any costs incurred by our suppliers and us in attempting
to secure any revised arrangements. Any name changes must be provided
to us in writing and are subject to any airline fees or penalties.
