01 ARRIVE KOLKATA
Upon
arrival in Kolkata, our Executive will meet you at the Airport followed by transfer
from Airport to Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY
02 KOLKATA
Breakfast
at Hotel in Kolkata.
We
start the day with the flower
market,
walk and breath in some fresh river air from this bridge walk on the famous Howrah
Bridge
- Its a feat in modern engineering and technology. Constructed in 1874
over the river Hooghly, the bridge joins the twin cities of Howrah and Kolkata
(Calcutta). In year 1871. Indian
Museum
was founded in 1814. You'll need an entire day, or more, to fully enjoy the
fossils, coins, stones, Gandhara art, meteors and much more that go to make
up this museum. Don't miss the 4,000-year-old mummy here, Victoria
Memorial
is a huge white-marble structure and the cherish able remains of the British
Raj in India. The structure, which is now floodlit in the night, gives a fascinating
site. It has been now converted in a museum and Mother
Teresa's House the
homes of the Missionaries of Charity. If you want to volunteer some time during
your holiday in Calcutta, you can ask for volunteering opportunities at Nirmal
Hriday (the home for the dying), Prem Dan (home for the mentally ill and the
sick) or at Nirmala Shishu Bhavan (the orphanage). Overnight at hotel.

Morning
after breakfast transfer to Airport to connect flight to onward destination.

TOUR ADDITIONAL PRICE INFO:
Entrance fees are not included. Most entrance fees in India are not
more than USD$2. PLEASE NOTE that there is often an additional camera
charge, though this again will not usually be more than USD$2. The
charges for using a Video camera are more expensive and will usually
be around USD$5. TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel your booking any time prior to commencement of the
tour by notifying us in writing, which must be signed by the person
that signed the Reservation Form. If you cancel on or before 30
days before the first day of the tour, we will retain your deposit
to cover our costs.
In addition, if the cancellation notification is received less
than 30 days prior to the first day of the tour, additional cancellation
charges shall be as follows:
Amount of Cancellation Charges:
* 29-15 Days before the first day of the tour 50%
* 14-7 Days before the first day of the tour 75%
* Less than 7 Days before the first day of the tour 100%
CHANGES BY YOU:
If you request any changes to your travel arrangements once we have
confirmed a booking, all out of pocket charges, including charges
imposed by our suppliers, will be payable by you, plus an amendment
fee of USD$ 150.00 or more according to your requirement, per revision
per booking. If after the commencement of your tour you request
any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to
implement them, but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible.
In the event of such change(s) being made, you will be liable for
any cancellation charges that may be levied for the previously booked
service and for any costs incurred by our suppliers and us in attempting
to secure any revised arrangements. Any name changes must be provided
to us in writing and are subject to any airline fees or penalties.
